Okay hi im new to all of this and i got a funny story to tell.

I was following Babystep 1 when i got to the command dd if=boot.bin of=/dev/fd0 i changed it to dd if=boot.bin of=/dev/sdb because i don't have floppies and all i had was my flash drive. What happened was this: http://i.imgur.com/ofl4c.png (you can see that it doesn't detect the device on the right even though its plugged in).

I think i may of just nuked a flash drive by doing that...

Oh as a sidenote is there a way to reverse this? Or do i have a new paperweight?
