GRUB problems (Using Bochs)

Post by deficite »

I made an image with GRUB that I have loaded as ata0-master and another image with a FAT filesystem and my kernel loaded on it set to ata0-slave. Both images are 4 MB in size. I set them up to have 8 cylinders. I boot up Bochs and I get the grub prompt. I try to load my kernel: "kernel (hd1,0)/boot/nebulaos.kern" and it throws an error 18 at me (Selected cylinder exceeds limit specified by BIOS). I don't get it. 8 cylinders is not even close to any limit on cylinders. Just for sanity checking I tried 1 cylinder and it still gave me that error.
