Alright Abu?

Just got Fedora Core 2 up on my Linux Box, it rules.

Finish college in a few weeks, get my hnd, and finally some time to start doing some osdev work rather than watching others do theirs.

Hows about yourself? How is your OS coming?

Moose,

Trying to go down to Ocean City this weekend. As far as the OS it is going as good as I can hope light an man power but not much you can do about that. Maybe I'll get to finishing the drivers I wanted to make this week.

BUT FIRST I HAVE TO PASS THE !@#$%^&* EXAMS! DAMN!

I have a little OS working. It has 'boot loader', 'memory manager', 'process manager', 'device manager', and a very simple 'file manager'.

By now all the device drivers are part of the kernel, but I am trying to separete it.

My os, urrm yeah it needs looking at.

I have my own print function, some idt routines to catch ints, standard cpuid detection and started memory management.

But since ashley4 said he got all that stuff in his kernel in just 10k! I've been wanting to review my own code. Its currently 37k :s. Just been bogged down with coursework. But only 3ish weeks left of my course! then im a free to developed something.

EyeScream,

LOL well hurry up and pass them exams. You wouldn't want to be sitting around studying when you can be coding.

Well it' pretty interesting, cause i also have to pass(or i should say get an A(5)) on my exams(to be exact one exam-the finals(gos(government) exam) ) at MSU. It interesting how many more people on this board are from the MSU?(or at least from russia)

Oh well as for me they are just the usual exams... I'm just the first course student yet...

Oh, and what faculty are you graduating now? I'm studying on CMC (BMuK).

Good Luck!
