How to read the value about accessed property?

In a segment description,its property bit 0 expresses
if the segment is accessed,I want to know how to
read the value after I assign segment selector to a segment register?

In case you're still confused, berkus is talking about a segment override prefix. Take a look at the Intel manuals, particularly at volume 2A.
