Bug finding competition: Win $70, $50 or $30!

Post by JamesM »

Hi,

In case some of you haven't seen it, I'm running a competition to try and increase the level of testing and stability of my open source project, Horizon. I'll be giving away, via paypal, cash prizes of USD 70, USD 50 and USD 30 to the first, second and third placed persons, respectively.

You get points for finding bugs (and entering them into the bug database, with a testcase), and more points (3x as many) if you fix it too and supply a patch.

It'll run for 4 weeks - you can find more information in my other post.

Thanks for any help!

We are aware... but unfortunately we are too busy finding and fixing bugs in our own Operating System projects :D

I know that; hence the money! I'm hoping I might entice someone away from their project for a little while ;)
