Hello,
I am looking for experienced developers to aid in developing my long time
hobby OS: Halfix. I already have my goals and many notes and specs
collected. But I realise that I cannot develop a useful OS by myself in a
reasonable amount of time.
I have read that Atheos OS developed by one person. Is this true?
Everything?? Does this make me less uber to want to develop it faster? I
believe it took Atheos about 4 years to become truely useful. How many of
you are actually developing a OS with someone besides yourself?
I already have 1 developer besides myself, Tux. He is coding the GUI engine
for me. I would like to keep this project managed by me. But that does not
mean that the project is just mine. I merely would like to adhere to some
basic goals that I have laid out.
I look forward to some replies in favor of joining my effort. I think it
would be, at the very least, a good learning experience. But again, i'd like
to emphasize the need for experienced OS developoers and not beginners. If
you have other talents like Graphic design or would like to develop plugins
for Halfix, then you can join for that. You don't have to be a core
developer.
Thanks,
mr. x(Brenden)
