I need some information on the following
1. Can we change the i/o port numbers of hardware devices such as floppys and hard disks. Who is assigning these values.. Whether they are hardcoded or some
code in bios set those.
2. Can we change the memory mapping properties of video.
Please give me some link information about these information if you can..
