enabling multiple cores/processors on a iMPS conpliant syste

How do I enable the extra cores and set their execution entry points?
Read the Intel Manuals 3A section on processor initialization and the section on APICs. Also read the Intel MP Specification.
There is also some stuff on the wiki about this, and probably other posts on these forums about it as well. Search next time.
