I started writing some info about programming the IO-APIC in the wiki.
I was hoping I could encourage some people to add some background or general info about the IO-APIC. I will be primarily focusing on programming the device and setting up interrupts, but I don't believe I am qualified to give a real conceptual intro or detailed explanation of pins or when it started being used.

well, what to say, to much to do in too little space.
when it goes up hill, increase work, when it goes straight, test yourself but when going down, slow down.

Re: IO-APIC
No offense, kmtdk, but why do you keep posting when you've got nothing to say? I don't post everytime I don't know something just to tell the OP of the thread that that's the case...
