Nice ninth post man.... what the hell?
The is only one book of revelations, so I don't know what your talking about with the book 3, but chapter 8 verse 2 says:
"And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets."
In the king James version, where as in the Good news bible translation you get:
"Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets. "
Which is not wildly different, since I don't see how this could be related to enabling the fpu, it's probably a joke, but I think it is in rather bad taste...
Well that's just my view anyway...

Sorry I miss read, you said the big book of patterns, the post by syntropy confused me sorry...
What you said, though given in a format that would be use to reference a quote from the bible would have no religious connotations sorry

And your right they are I bible....
And I shoudln't have given him the answer so easily, it would of taken him 10 seconds to find it himself and he didn't even thank me...
Sorry...

Sorry, after reading the little thread about the "Porting Newlib" and "DMA" entries on the wiki, and reading the responses I needed a good laugh.

Yah, there was something sometime ago, somebody protested about the 'biblical references' in them, which I think where limited to something like: 'in the beginning was...', which I think is a strong over reaction...

@suthers:
No problem. IMO you were nice enough to even bother to answer his question directly. It's more the OPs fault that he breaks forum etiquette repeatedly (this being an exceptionally bad case).

your bad sense of spelling suggested as much
@asdfgh:
You should really bother with looking for your own answers. This one is *literally* in the book and you are therefore contributing to the bad atmosphere that hangs around this place.
Now, repeat after me:

Personally, (I'm not a follower of (organized) religion, and I'm not making this into a debate) I found that quite funny and entertaining, simply because it was so ... unorthodox. I also got a kick out of the
In the beginning there was a PC, but the PC was slow. IBM looked down from the heavens and said "Slap on a DMA controller - that should speed it up."
. Anyone who has spent time around the old machines I figure would have as well.
