besides the fact that your site loads INCREDIBLY slow, it looks like an incredibly nice layout. I cannot read chinese unfortunately =(. Are you going to create an english translation ever? just curious as the site looks full of tons of info.

just a question about the langauge in general, why is it that words such as Programming, coding, etc, are in english and the rest is not? i understand why things such as VB6 are in english, but why the other non-titled words not in chinese?

Dear 01000101
We chinese will not 100% use chinese word, especially in programming.
Also, there are many kind of chinese : 1) hong kong people , 2) tai wan people, 3) mainland china people. All of them are different, and they will use different % of english in their speak and writing.

i think saying "programming" is easy to say it in chinese. Another example is, we usualy say sorry in english rather than say sorry in chinese word. It is a culture, or may be say sorry in english is easier.

thanks

I always thought - and was actually taught in school - that programmers MUST learn English as if it's their second language, and if they really want to get ahead, they should make it their first language. The worst misunderstandings I've seen on this site come from a poor understanding/usage of the English language. If you add the programming-related misunderstandings on top of that, you get nowhere.
Oh, and this post is highly off-topic!
