I looked all over google and the wiki here for this info. How do i make a grub floppy that will load my os off a floppy? i downloaded "Solar grub disk.zip" and put it on a floppy "takes the whole thing up" and it gives me options that do nothing. and i saw a link in the grub wiki for "Disk images under windows" but it doesnt exist! ahh! lol. Im sooo confused

hazardoxide,
I use a program called
VFD. Make an image that is exactly 1.44MB, and then "vfd open ..." Then, just move the GRUB files, and your kernel/modules over the the drive and unmount it.

Your welcome. I had to go through the whole cygwin process too.. Just wait until you get to the cross-compiler stage
