[Resolved] Bootloader

Alright, I know this may be a really dumb question for me to ask at this time, but how hard would it be for me to make my own primitive boot loader?
How hard would it be for me to:
* Write a bootloader?
* Scale a cliff?
* Climb mount everest?
* Play football (soccer for you yanks!) to a club level?
* Compose a symphony?

It depends on what you can do already. Without knowing that, how can we say how hard you will find it? I personally suggest you write a kernel first however, seeing as you had so much trouble getting a disk image to work... Some tutorials in the link in my signature are similar to Bran's tutorial which you followed.
