68HC12 , Help with square roots

i have been struggling with a good code for figuring out a sqare root after the user has imput the three constants , and display any imaginary roots as 0

anything will help,

You don't just have an opcode that will do a square root for you?

What exactly do the 3 constants have to do with square root calculation?
