nah, man... it's finito, you can decode them, as you can't use google before so easy question. You mentioned "BINARY CODED DECIMAL" bcd for short, is it so difficult to google for it ?

Yes, sorry I should of searched around better. I was really posting as I wasn't sure whether I did needed to convert from BCD or not.

you can also reprogramm the timer to give you the time in normal format

You can, but IIRC it confuses Windows 98 (and possible other versions of Windows) because they assume the RTC is using BCD without checking... ;)

i'm talking about OSD, because it's operating system development forum, any question reffers to an OSD i think
