I'm lucky enough to have an NE2k card in a real PC.
But the drivers don't work on it, whenever I try to send a packet it gets every byte gets padded with another character... Unfortunately this means that I can't test the networking on a real PC.
It works perfectly in Bochs. Driver code is in my CVS, 'net' folder...
