Book Reviews:Modern Operating Systems (2nd Edition)

This thread is a place to discuss the book titled Modern Operating Systems (2nd Edition) located on the Books wiki page.
After all of my research and coding efforts, I truly wish Tanenbaum could be a bit less of a Unix Weenie.
In fact, I wish he would show readers more from research operating systems in general. The entire book's examples consist mostly of industrial operating systems.
