lf: splashimage ready grub image

Hi,
I want to add a splash-image ready grub to my current tree.
I actually know about the splashimage grub patch etc stuff. Before compiling by my own hands, i wanted to ask if somebody already has a splash-image patched grub floppy image avaible?

it seems that i have to do it on my own.

i got a 0.93 source and patched it with splashimage. got the stage1 & stage, added my xpm.gz image file.

strangely it hangs in stage2.
searching for a stage2 hang just gives results about distro related problems and answers just suggest reinstalling the distro nothing saying the real problem lying under it. anyway if i can manage to get it work, i'll post the splashimage ready image here..

if anyone already got one, pls post it here.
