Trying to figure it out by your self, would teach you the most, and you would be a lot more satisfied from solving it by your self

I mean that some fellows give some code snipes and ask why this crashes, before you ask try understanding why it crashes and then ask if it still crashes.

Agree the error and there you go.

This is called debugging.Some guys don't know how to debug the code, some are lazy to debug it.Maybe a book should be written, or tutorial .I've never heard of such a book.

I think a good set of tutorials about bochs, gdb, printf debugging and the like would be a nice addition to the wiki. Its sometimes pretty annoying to see people posting completely irrelevant code asking whats wrong with it...

Maybe i'll spend some time on it when the MT and osdev wikis are merged...
