ZOT OS - history?

Post by inflater »

Hi,
i've found Zot OS - a very outdated links:

http://members.tripod.com/~zot_os/publi ... nload.html
www.zotos.tk

All 2 links are broken.
Does anybody know, that Jonathan Five cancelled this project or something??
I cant download version 2.0 - that is with "GUI" (well, TUI for me)...

Thanx

Oooooooooo-oooh! Shiny UI! :D
Windows Vista rapes you, cuts you and pisses inside. Thought these are just nifty side-effects.

Shiny UI. ;) lool :D :D

You know:

It is a big difference, when you build TUI with Visual Basic's Form Designer WITH ALL MS-BOSS (dos :D) FUNCTIONS --or-- you will build it completely from scratch with "Do-It-Yourself" method + without MS-BOSS. ;) (like me :D)

Hey, Yeah the download was linked incorrectly it seem's.

I downloaded this awhile ago when looking for OSDev projects, Found it on one of my backup CD's.

http://www.mooload.com/new/file.php?fil ... otos20.zip

Not quite an OS, The zip contains ZOT.EXE - FIND.EXE - CLOCK.EXE and CALC.EXE

I don't even think his OS boots independently, I think it starts from DOS or via Version 1.0.

Version 1.0 is a DOS command.com replacement.

The *developer* abandoned the project a few years back I think..

(It's also closed source...)
