hi all.
yesterday i wanted to write a newly compiled .bin file to a floopy disk with debug.exe in win_xp.i typed:
-n os.bin
-w 0 0 0 1
(suppose os.bin is the file i wanna write)but unluckily it said:"write protect error writing drive a."i checked the floopy disk and it was REALLY ok.
so what was the matter?can anyone here tell me?
thanks a BUNCH in advance.

Does normal access to the floppy work? If you can copy files to the disk with explorer then the problem lies with debug.exe and you may want to try something like rawwrite (google it).

it's ok to operate the floopy disk with the explorer in win_xp.now i will try the tool you've mentioned--rawrite.
