Hurrah! I got into Protected Mode!



Ive never been in PM before.
I still dont completely understand HOW I got into PMode, but Ill keep reading over and over the tutorial that I used to get me there until I understand it.

I have learnt the lssson that the Intel X86 Manaul isAMAZINGLY handy. It tells you all about GDT etc, Awesome

hehe ... lucky you who start osdeving with Internet available. I remember i had to wait 'til i got to the university to find the Holly Manuals ...

*gg* I've got internet as soon as I've got my flat - so no problems with that. Getting hands on them 's been an other thing ... It took quite some time ere I 've found out about them.

Oh sweet times of innocence - when knowledge started to blossom and the sweet fragrance of dedication led one to take the challenge.

I have also got internet in my home but every now and then i have to look my watch. Surely u people are more lucky than me
