Does anyone know of any x86-64 projects under development?
That is, other than the Suse Linux project? Even a bootloader would
be useful, as I am doing research on it.

Any help would be terrific.

Off-hand, no, I don't know of any projects, but
if you look at www.x86-64.org and www.amd.com
you'll find a lot of good info. I believe the
former also has links to various BSD systems
being ported to AMD Hammer architecture. The former
also has a Hammer emulator for Linux, which is
great for developing code (much better than vmware,
because you can peek at memory and registers
when developing).
