GUI concept opinions

May I get some opinions on these concept windows:

I'll be using VESA/AF for the final version of the GUI if anyone cares. It seems to me not many people know about it and just use plain old and slow VESA.

does the Accelerated Functions work in pmode ? if not, that may explain why ppl usually use plain vesa

Well...
1) The OFFICAL one is a CLOSED SOURCE but compiled DOS driver and uses RMode to init.
2) But depending on some cards, (like Nvidia's), RMode is not needed.
3) Do note, there is an OPEN SOURCED remake *don't you love CAPS? =P* version of the driver:

You might want to check the light source on some of those buttons.
The oblong 'ok' button has light at top right
The square check box has light at top left
The rounded 'ok' buttons have light at bottom left

nah, i don't like caps that much ... caps are shouts ... i have small ears...

Yeah, thanks for noticing, I did those seperately so the lighting's screwed up.
Although, how should I store the themes as?
My first idea was to use tiles with regions that can be recolored and others that have static colors.

Who the hell is Curufir? I know Curunir, Curufin, Curumo and Curufinw?, but Curufir? Or was the avatar there just to mislead me?
