So there I was...

Hi all,
The other day sitting in my flat I was bored after a long working day. The TV that night (I live in London) was bad, so I started to surf.
I decided that I didn't know enough about the IA-32 cpus (day job is a programmer in the phone area), but I didn't want to mess about with Windows, Linux etc. I wanted to get down to the bare metal.
I came accross this site and since then it's been a full on learning experience. This site is awesome.
I've been blown away by everybody who's decided to have a go at an OS. Some of the screen shots are just.... Run out of adjectives.
Tonight after a long day at work and some shitty TV, I couldn't put the code down. I've now got some code running including setting up a GDT & IDT (this time last week I hadn'r even heard of these)
Everybody, keep plugging away at your OS's. I will try to catch up
Cheers
Mark
