LaTeX works for all systems, too. For a Windows version, look at www.miktex.org MikTeX is a Win32 distribution of LaTeX. A good editor is WinEdt, you get it from www.winedt.com LaTeX is the best typesetting system i know, most things in science are written in LaTeX.

BTW: Chronos (Greek for time) sounds nice. Or perhaps Trinity.

You all seem to have to have flooded the msgboard - really great impetus to our community OS. Here's my brief resume:

And for implementation - I strongly support gcc & nasm. But honestly gcc's __asm__ is really cool. Could you all please consider that again ?
