Have you looked at the list of available OSs, specifically MenuetOS. If you're looking for anyone with the capability of doing such a thing, talk to him- He obviously knows how to program in assembly and he's superb at it.

I suggest you ask him if he's interested in the topic, otherwise-- I'm off to continue working on my own OS.. lol.

Some of us have come together, you just usually have to wait for many people to atleast get past the "hello world". After that they are usually more willing to work jointly on a project. As your project does sound interesting I have spun off a PRV project.
