I probably would've bought it, until I wandered into a software store, and saw Doom II for... $30!

I AM NOT PAYING $30 FOR AN FPS FROM 1995! (Especially when KaZaA is free!)

oh yes, my mistake.. if you can get it for free then you don't have to buy it.

You can get it from id's site for $25
or under $5 from ebay .. so really, there's no worries.

Cripes!! Does that mean, Mr. T, that if you released a commercial game, you'd want it to be posted on every warez site?

I have to admit taking some liberties with software, but that's all abandoned software, read I CAN'T BUY IT ANYWHERE!!! except for maybe e-bay.

I remember when id made games of rather newbie quality. It was only by the continued support of the fans who registered the Shareware versions of games that they were able to stick around long enough to become a force to be reckoned with.

I can definitely think of worse places to spend money.
