I call it ugly because they are too forced. There is really nothing to be gained from calling a CPU (pronounced as a Dutch acronym, so "say-pay-uu") a CVE ("say-vay-a"), nor does its full translated name "centrale verwerkingseenheid" say anything more about what it is and how it functions. Of course, I'm not against translating "memory" ("geheugen" is quite common) or one of the many other translated words that actually make sense when translated.Kevin wrote:I guess you call it ugly because you're not used to it.
