Unfortunately I refuse to vote in any political election, so I'm unaware of the UK parties' stance on this. Chances are that the major ones are in favour (They are all backed by big business).

I usually avoid advice in the form of "vote this" or "vote that", and instead provide links where people can educate themselves (like the ffii.org links I posted above). Democracy isn't easy, and it is about being informed.

Some parties are against it on principle, but their MEPs are still going to vote for it, what a surprise, their politicions.

Well, in a way that's what politicians are supposed to do, isn't it? To vote according to their convictions, not according to the convictions of some political party.

Sadly enough they seem to remember this only if there are strong lobbies to convince them (and money to be earned). :-\
