i dont even know what mysql is. well, i dont think web games are cool. most of them that is. i like fps and stuff. i dont think you can do that with php or something.

Well qbasic is easy... well except for it's graphics
This is sooo off-topic, but I had to tell you: go to my site
http://www.student.kuleuven.ac.be/~m0219571/joga/ click on "finished projects". And look what I can do in QBasic. the pics are 320*160*16, better then AGI-pics, because they are actually 160*167*16, so...
About PHP: I've tried it more than once,... but I think I'm too stupid to learn it.

Yes that is quite good, but you forget, I am graphically challenged, I couldn't make a decent looking picture if my life depended on it.

chris they now have drawing programs and side scroller thingys for qbasic. i think it would be much easier to make games now.
