Yes, I'm just a dude who wants to someday (at the very least) make a console prompt along the lines of "[name]>_" and it will be all retro-looking.

I think that you can do it, it's just a matter of breaking up your project into separate steps (or "objectives" as I've said on one of my posts on a separate thread) so that when you complete a step, you're satisfied and want to do more (or at least that's what I do, experiment a bit & use what's best for you ) - I can also suggest you that there are software out there that allows you to create & manage in a Kanban way tasks that you can define yourself. There is Trello for that or Kanboard if you want a open-source equivalent (but you will be required to provide your own HTTP web server + SQL database for that)

Ouch, I'm terribly sorry, I forgot to look at the last post's date; my bad. I thought this was a not-so-old topic since I'm used to much more active forums so I tend to ignore the year this was posted at. Really sorry for the inconvenience (but hey, looking at this way, if this comes up in search engines then maybe this could help to people )
