He's not ignoring you. He just hasn't visited the site in the past two weeks. ;)

Yeah, since getting hit with by a hurricane (insurance agent finally made it out 2 days ago), I've managed to have my identity stolen (yay credit card fraud!), and I sliced my foot open on one of my girlfriends school projects and had to get stitches (sucks because I stand for most of my job). I also got shipped out for a week to do some consulting for Sun, it's fun to play with systems that have 128 cpus :)

I'm not ignoring you its just that I wanted to figure out the best way to handle the matter. There are some features of phpbb3 that allow for granting varying moderator rights to users that I wanted to look into before making any proposals to the existing mods.

You should also know that the last time a group of users were promoted to mods I gave myself just as much say-so as then current mods. I try not to make anyone a moderator without first getting the approval of the majority of active moderators. There is a super-secret moderator only forum where we discuss such super-secret matters.

Oooh, super-secret stuff, fun...! I'd love to see a few of the topics there.

@Chase: My god man, you've had some bad luck! But I'm also a bit confused: is the thing you sliced your foot on one of your girlfriend's many projects or one of your many girlfriends' projects? :P

IMHO there should be mods and global mods (the overall big important mods), with the global mods being able to perma-ban people and do more admin-ish things.

@Inflater: I think you'd be a viable candidate for mod-ship. Power to the people!
