Your attitude on these forums is, by the looks of things, is not going to earn yourself alot of respect, let alone help!
You have to remember that we help you guys out in our free time, we are not some company support where we have to help you. You cannot expect us to commit to helping you! You cannot order people around on these forums at all, that is just plain rude!
In the game of OS, the people (most of them) do it because they enjoy it. They enjoy the problem solving, the learning and generally being part of the community. You do not seem to have this attitude. You have to enjoy what you are doing to be good at it. I mean at your level (by that I mean a hobby OS developer, not Linus Torvalds!), what else is the point of doing it? You seem to expect us to do all the work for you, then present it as you own work?! Whats the point in that. The whole reason of building you own OS is to learn from it (and to enjoy it!).
You need to think about how you talk (or type
) to these people on the forums, especially if you want their help. If you looked around the forums, you will see that people like JamesM know what their talking about, so next time you question his advice, have a good reason!
Overall, you need to enjoy OS Dev to be good at it, and respect the community members to get their help (After all they have been at it longer than you, probably...). REMEMBER THEY DO THIS IN THEIR FREE TIME!!!
