I havent done much developement on Citadel in the past couple days, am yet to print out the FDC Documentation aswell as documentation for DMA.
Strangely, the idea of sitting in bed reading port numbers appeals to me
.
The sourcecode for Citadel is totally open, if you find something you like, or atleast think is decent, you are welcome to take it.
If you like, even put me in your OSes credits

Of course, everything I say should be taken with a grain of salt and implementation of such things vary. One of the key things to know when OSDeving, almost everything is done different on every OS.
