Modular Kernel Source Possible?

I'm always searching desperately for the diaeresis on a non-german keyboard when typing with my ten fingers. *gg* That's the problem with typing 'blind' - one learns a keyboard layout by heart and the switching to another layout isn't *that* easy. You need to rely on what is beneath your fingertips and not to have to search for alternate keys -- oh man, where is the ampersand *damnit*
