VBE3 in pmode

[VBE3 in pmode]

has anyone called the vesa bios functions from protected mode?
my computer restarts...
everything is set up correctly, i guess.

i called the functions in realmode.
800x600x32 is the highest mode supported by card.
i'm looking for another standard that supports at least 1024x768x32.
everything in pmode using ports.
samples or tutorials?
