Compatibility with Vista

Post by frank »

Hello everyone,

I just got a new laptop. It came with Vista Home Premium on it. That is not going to change. I was just wondering if anyone has successfully gotten these programs to work on vista or if anyone has heard of anyone who has gotten these programs to work on vista. Also could you tell me of any problems that you have heard of on Vista that deal with these applications. The websites don't always say whether or not they are compatible.

1. Cygwin (gcc, bintools, and bash)

2. Eclipse

3. MTools

Thats about all.

Thanks for your time.

If Java works, Eclipse should, not sure on the others, I think GCC might...
