Citadel Website!

Post by elderK »

Hey all :).

Ive been making steady progress on the Citadel rewrite, even had a little break to make a basic website.

It doesnt have all that much on it yet, but watch the space! Ill have all the Design decisions about the Kernel and such up soon enough, aswell as .tar.gzs of the current sourcebase as the time... aswell as some disk images of specific things going on like... FDC tests, or whatever.

:) Any comments on the style of the webpage would be welcomed.

Also, Its probably too big, Its designed for 1280x1024 32bpp.
(I have a very large monitor). Ill probabyl scale it all down to comply with todays seemingly standard 1024x768.

Thanks Bubach for the space!

Thanks!

Looks good. In terms of actual useful feedback, you've got a typo - 'developement' should be 'development'.

Oh, and avoiding designing for specific resolutions is usually a good thing - but that's by the by, not really the point considering (I don't know) web development may not be 'your thing' (although it may!).

Thanks Midas! (btw man, its good to see you still around :D), Ill correct the spelling errors soonish.

Webdesign isnt my major thing, but I like to think I can do it slightly ok, although I hate to make really complicated crazy websites that take years to load, instead I make relatively minimalistic ones.

The first thing I want to have up after the main stuff, is the Design documentation, because that helps me just as much as it could maybe help someone else.

Ill upload the current sourcebase too, although its probably nothign all that intriguing.

Just Stage1 BL, Stage2 BL, Stage2 Kernel, System Microkernel is yet to be started. Bright side is, the MK can use a lot of the systems that im using in the S2 Kernel. :D

Just, I cant wait to get onto the System MK, because I cant wait to get back into writing Memory MAnagers and cool fun stuff!
