Post by modshah »

hi everybody,

I would like to know where can I find the first version of Linux (i.e. the first stable source code written by Linux Torvalds). I have presently the Linux 2.4 kernel source.
Thanking in advance

Anywhere you download kernels!  Where else?

Try this:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v1.0/

Cheers,

version 0.01 is in the "historic" directory
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/Historic/

you can also get version 0.10, 0.11, etc.
