most of the talks appear to be in french, btw. (which is not that surprising for an event held in France ;) )

You know, French people tend to be a bit anglophobic on average... :-\

And my French isn't good enough to even consider the possibility... 8)
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.

Well, most talks appear to be in french, but this depends of the talker :)

@Solar : Really depends on the place where you lend. Here in Nancy (Vandoeuvre being a part of it), they're many students and the meeting is hosted by the science university, and I can promise most of the people will be happy to speak english
