dd in Cygwin

Dooooh. I forgot the most simple solution of all! If the Clicker disk works, why don't use it for my OS!? I haven't tried it yet, but I don't think anything could go wrong...

any chance you might have a dead floppy ? otherwise, except the fact you used a poor tool to copy your kernel on the GRUB disk, i don't see any reason why floppy X wouldn't boot your (multiboot-compliant) kernel if it booted Clicker ...
