PowerPC OS Examples?

PowerPC OS Examples?

I know there's a lot of information about x86 OS programming, but does anyone know of any examples of operating systems targeting PowerPC based machines? I know there's Linux, but I was hoping for something a little more approachable to maybe glean a little understanding from.

Mac OS X is Free Software and runs on the PPC. You might find the PPC-specific kernel sources an interesting place to start.
