i dunno. If it's there and the page still says to compile to aout then i suppose.
Try removing the whole line.
Else i dont know. To be honest, i've never used the aout kludge. I just started with elf and never had any problems with it booting.

i wouldnt like to deprive the world of another "hello world operating system", so il have a go with elf, but it just seems harder to compile!
