If you don't mind paying, you could check out MMURTL. I'm not sure if it uses C++, but I think it uses C.

MMURTL is mostly C with some assembler code.

I can definitely recommend MMURTL, but you should also get hold of some other operating systems books that explains the theory behind an operating system.
