Newbie!!
Newbie!!
Hi all,
Just thought I would say hello to everyone. I plan on doing alot of reading and viewing source before I start actually coding my own OS.
Anyone who wants to highly recommend a book that is easy to get, please feel free I much appreciate it. Also anyone who has an OS that is available to the public I would love to check it out (won't steal your code, I promise ).
By the way I plan on naming my OS 'XStream' as you may have guessed. Does anyone know of an existing OS with that name already??
Anyway, hope to get to know you all soon. Bye

Re:Newbie!!
Thanks Guys.
I plan on viewing source code from anything that works, I want to see all the different ways people have chosen to put their OS together, I want to see what works best and worst.
I guess I should have been more clear. Anyway, thanks again guys, I really feel welcome here.
