OK. I really don't care anymore about non-DMA... I guess I'll have to go with DMA... but, all I need is source code to start the drive motor, seek, set timings, etc... read a sector into memory, turn off the motor and jump to the sector... it has to use ports because it will be in pmode. I really need an answer to this.
