Which gives a very specific 72 hour period that is recognizable anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to be GMT; I chose that example as one people would most readily recognize, and which would at least give the illusion of impartiality and universality.

Otherwise you'll end up in disputes over what day a given submission was made.
Also, I suspect that the team rule is problematic; a boot sector isn't something that can really be divided into parts. I would probably try this myself if it weren't for that rule. While the rule makes sense in general, in this case I don't think it works.
