OS: D&I or OS Concepts, 6th Edition

OS: D&I or OS Concepts, 6th Edition

I got both these books for christmas and I'm not too sure which I should read first. I'm quite new to OS dev. Any comments from those who've read them?

i've just been reading "Operating System Concepts" (Schilb. & Galvin)

I would suggest to get a quick glance at both, not necessarily delving into details but just grabbing the grand concepts and the Stuff To Be Done, etc.
Try identifying the chapters that interrest you the most, and then read them in more details ...
