You all hate me , right?
No, but many of us are frustrated with trying to help you. You have shown too little willingness to find answers on your own, you ask questions which are too broad or too ambiguous, you repeat questions even after they've been answered, and you rarely seem to learn much from the answers given.
Now, these are typical novice mistakes, and it's understandable that you'd make them at first. Perica, for example, was even more hard-headed the first three months he was here (when he was posting under the unnervingly appropriate name
'Berserk'), but eventually he got a clue and has now become an asset to the forum instead of an annoyance (sorry for dragging up ancient history, Perica, but you
did make a rather amazing turnaround at the time, which is entirely to your credit). The problem is that after almost a year here, you are
still making the same mistakes, with no sign of learning from experience.
That is what irks a lot of people here.
All it would take is a quick
Google search to find several open source OSes; searchs on
Sourceforge and
freshmeat bring up dozens. Beyond that, the
.:Quicklinks:. thread also has links to available projects. And since the question has been asked before, a search on the forum would also bring up links to several, such as Clicker32 and Mobius.
Not to beat a dead horse, but I would suggest reading the
How To Ask Questions The Smart Way essay again, as it has some excellent advice on how to avoid these problems. Despite appearances, we
are willing to be patient and helpful for you, but
you have to be thoughtful and dilligent in return.
